Some AJ Shots from December

AJ's still loving the football - in fact, he loves any type of ball. He'll throw and bat the balls around the floor for hours...

Wearing Daddy's stocking cap. Britt Burr at HE Williams officially owes me for some advertising... http://www.hew.com/

Here's AJ at Silver Dollar City right before New Year's. It was a cold day at the park so his nose is a little red. This was at the end of a long day...

December Ice Day

The girls aren't ones to let a little FREEZING weather keep them from getting out to enjoy (?) the ice! These video and picture are from our December Arctic Blast that froze us all. Enjoy the videos!

Pioneer Christmas

A few days after Christmas, we had our "pioneer" Christmas dinner. We were all sick from Thanksgiving through New Year's day so our pioneer Christmas dinner was delayed a bit. The girls cooked a lovely dinner of roasted chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, irish brown bread and even apple pie. We ate the meal by candle light and by lantern light. We had a really, really fun time. Our girls love the "Little House" series (both book and TV) and we even used some "Little House" recipes that we got from the Little House Cookbook that we received last Christmas.

We broke out the fine china and stemware for our fancy little dinner.

Can you see Tatum's excitement?

Just a pic of the chicken and stuffing...
It was really yummy...

Here's a picture of the irish brown bread and mashed potatoes.
Are you getting hungry? I am...

Christmas Pics

Someday, I'll have my friend Robin show me how to make this blog look good. I hate Blogger sometimes because of how it organizes things on the page. Here's a hodgepodge (because again I hate Blogger's template!) of pictures.
For AJ, this was a rockin' Christmas - literally. We bought him a rocking giraffe (is it that hard to just have a horse?) and Grandpa and Grandma Robertson bought him a rocking (or should I say buckin'?) bull. He loves both of them! AJ's favorite activity this Christmas was climbing on top of the gifts - that's the last picture you see above.
The two group pictures are the girls with their cousins with my family (top group pic) and Christy's family (bottom group pic). The girls colored their hair at my family's house as you can see. At Christy's family's house, they're all dressed up in their Christmas pajamas that Grandma always buys them.
The ponchos are something that Christy made for the girls for Christmas. We as a family really tried to focus on Christ this Christmas and tried to not buy too much for each other. We made a lot of fun gifts for each other. My favorite was 2 books that the girls wrote for me - Tatum's was a joke and riddle book and Greta's book was all about me, complete with illustrations...
It was a great Christmas! One for the memory books. Thanks for reading. Robin, feel free to call me to tutor me on this whole formatting thing. ;)

Happy 6th Birthday Greta!

Happy Birthday to our sweet little girl. We cannot imagine life without your sweet spirit brightening our day. We thank God that He allows us to enjoy your enchanting personality and fun-loving heart everyday. God bless you Greta! Have a wonderful birthday!

Making Bread with Mama

You gotta love Greta's passion as she punches down the bread...
More punching from GG
Tatum's a little more subdued, but still did a great job working the dough

The bread turned out great and we loved the process. The girls are striving to make their bread as good as their Grandma Geiser's. Hopefully, they'll get it all figured out...That's good stuff!

More to Come

In the coming days, I'll get some Christmas pics up...

Silly-ness at Christmas

Just a few shots of me and the girls acting silly for the camera around Christmas.

I wish I had a neck...

We put on our spectacles for this one...
AJ decided to join the fun...
