Blueberry Picking

Last year, Christy went to pick blueberries and to be honest I wasn't overly happy about it. Picking anything yourself has always meant to me that you do all the work, pay more for the stuff YOU pick, and then what you pick doesn't taste THAT much better than what you get from Walmart.

Boy, was I wrong when it came to Heritage Farm's blueberries. They are amazing and really reasonably priced. After Christy brought home her first bunch of blueberries (and we ate them with a constant "mmmmm" coming from our mouths), I made her take me there with her so that we could pick some more!
So, if you're ever in SW Missouri and would love to get some blueberries with us, we know just the place to go. We might even share some with you!

Awana Awards

Our girls don't have a ton of extra activities - they stay pretty busy with homeschooling, church and friends. But one thing that they have done for the last 4 years or so is go to Awana at Fellowship Baptist Church. Here they are with some awards that they won recently. Tatum was very proud to have complete her book for the year.

Greta was the Clubber of the Year for her class. This is the award handed out to the Awana member that most acts like Jesus. We were very proud of Greta as she has come a long way from the scared little girl that we first took to Awana several years ago.

God has blessed us with two wonderful daughters and Awana has helped them to memorize Scripture and to know more about Jesus. Thanks to all the Awana teachers that have influenced our daughters in such a positive way!

AJ's Pool Fun

AJ hanging out at Grandpa's Pool...
He loves to throw things, dump things, pour things, hit things, yell at things, oh, in short... he's a boy!

One more shot of him dumping some water...

Christie's Girl Zoe

Christy's friend from her YWAM days (Christie Hensler) spent much of last week with us. This is her beautiful daughter Zoe playing at the park. Zoe is only a week older than our AJ...

Hanging out at the park... Zoe seems to be the opposite of AJ - All girl, easy-going and pretty quiet Zoe seemed taken aback by our all-boy, hard-charging very loud little AJ!
Zoe made Tatum decide to switch her vote for the upcoming Geiser baby to a girl. I think that Greta still wants another boy but we know our whole family loved having Zoe around to play with AJ and the girls.

The Coming Flood of Blog Posts

I have a flood of new pictures and blogs coming from the last few months. Patience will pay off as we let you see what we've been up to...

Undercliff

This is Christy's friend from YWAM, Christie Hensler and her daughter Zoe. Christie & Zoe spent much of last week with us. We took them to one of our favorite Joplin restaurants - the Undercliff!

Here's Zoe - She was a little tired this night, but still extremely cute!

Let the love of video games begin! AJ really got into this game, luckily he didn't care if we put in a quarter or not! Look for another post featuring Zoe on Wednesday morning!

Super Babies

A few months ago, I had AJ all to myself and needed to go to Walmart for some reason. I was trying to find a cool toy for the kid and went into the baby section. And what did I see? A cool Superman pajama set complete with cape! Who's not going to spend $9 on that!?!

Well, some of our best friends also had little boys who just happened to have birthdays coming up... so we decided it would be cute to get them the outfits for their birthdays...

And, if you have 3 little boys with Superman pajamas, you have to get them all together and try to take some pictures of them. Though they weren't too sure about being stuffed into a little bucket together!
So, the Superbabies are (l to r) Uriah, AJ and Ethan!
Hope you enjoyed!
