Introducing… Josiah Lucas Geiser!

Josiah Lucas woke his mama up around 3:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve and kept it up until he finally arrived at 10:42 a.m.   As some of you know, Christy and I were up pretty late last night finishing up some Christmas stuff.  So, we ended up with about 2 hours sleep (max)!  Christy did great despite the lack of sleep and was very strong as she always is!  I am very proud of her! 

He weighed in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 20-1/2 inches long.  (After AJ was so big, Josiah is pleasantly small and his mother thanks him!)  His head and his chest both measured 13-1/2 inches around.  We are thrilled to have this latest addition to the Geiser family!  Here’s some pics for you!

Merry Christmas from the Geiser’s!

Here’s a collection of recent memories and sights from the Geiser household for Christmas 2009. We start out with pictures from a recent evening with friends where the girls prepared bags of goodies to place on cars at the local hospitals as gifts. Then, they headed to Starbucks for hot cocoa and then on to the Way of Salvation light display in Carthage, Missouri. Then, we show you some random shots from our December including Silver Dollar City, Christmas cookies and a peek inside our house for our Christmas decor. Enjoy!

AJ's 2nd Birthday!

On December 5, 2009, AJ turned 2!
He had a barn-yard themed party.
He's an amazing little boy
who is always finding a way to make us laugh!

Let the Potty Training Begin

With the impending arrival of Josiah Lucas,
it is time to begin potty training AJ.
His favorite part of the process is wearing
what he calls "Dada pants".

Christy's Big Adventure

For 2 years in a row, Christy has had some pretty good birthday plans. Last year, I surprised her with a trip out west to see one of our few faithful blog readers and our good friend Robin and her husband Ben. This year, our friends in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Dave & Kim helped to bring Christy and the kids up there for a week. So, with kids in tow, Christy set out on her week-long adventure in late September. (this is what happens when we don't update the blog!) Here are a few shots from their special week with the Colemans!
