Our return to blogging begins with our recent hunt for our Christmas tree. There was a time not that long ago that we would go to a lovely Christmas tree farm in Carthage near Precious Moments. We would go out among the trees and pick our favorite, cut it down and get a wagon ride back to the "Holiday Barn". Unfortunately, that tree farm shut down about 5 years ago leaving us to head to Walmart or to use an artificial tree.
This year, we went to Lowe's and found us a good one though we still miss heading out to the farm to cut our own. The kids still loved running among all the trees at Lowe's though!
