Due Date Gone

Saturday, December 1, was our due date for this baby. Last night, Christy began to feel more and more contractions, but nothing serious enough to go to the hospital over. We got to about 5 minutes apart, but most of the contractions were generally mild. Christy is in all ways ready to have this baby and even went to Walmart last night around 11 to try and walk the little guy into this world.

She is confident that today is the day for this little guy to be born, so you can pray that we have a quick delivery with as little pain as possible. Christy is going to try to avoid the pain medications and just try to have our little boy as naturally as she can.

Tatum and Greta are as excited about having a little brother as they are that Christmas is less than a month away. They are going to be good big sisters, though he may have to play the part of a prince a little too early...

As for me, I am ready to see what it feels like to have another man in the house. We'll still lose in a vote, but as least it will be a little closer! I'll take around a week off to spend with the family, and then it will be time for busy season and long weeks.

Look for more posts to this blog in the next few days as we'll update you with how the birth went and give you some shots of the little guy. No, we aren't releasing the name yet. You'll find out in the next few days...

Anthony and Christy! Thank you for setting up this venue; we are waiting with you, believing in God's goodness and grace for you hour by hour. What a welcome awaits Prince Geiser!!!

"Little boys are the only thing God can use to make a man" -
sweet, and true old saying.

Love to each of you...

I can only imagine how your back must be feeling. He'll come when he's ready...

In the meantime, go get some frozen custard-it will make you feel better-I recommend the pumpkin!

May the God of peace be with you.
